Some of my favorite people have been very busy creating courses and teleclasses and all sorts of goodies so let me tell you all about what I found this week.
Alyson B. Stanfield, the Art Biz Coach will begin a course called Cultivate Your Collectors on July 8. This looks like a content rich power house for artists who are ready to promote themselves and create returning customers and loyal business relationships. Even though her coaching site and her blog are focused on supporting the visual artist, I have learned a lot from the articles and materials she has available. I recommended her to an artist friend of mine who is ready for his own show – even if he doesn’t know it yet (hint, hint).
Sandy from The Dreaming Cafe is offering a 4-week online journaling workshop called Taking Your First Steps on the Creative Journey to Self Discovery. If you want to answer these questions:
-
Who am I?
-
What do I want?
-
Where am I going?
You won’t go wrong with this one. Sandy has been a Chief Inspiration Artist for me on my journey and I strongly encourage you to add her supportive voice and wisdom to your network. Also, sign up for her newsletter. Her subscribers got lots of free goodies and resources in their email this week.
Barbara Winter of Joyfully Jobless is offering some fantastic teleclasses. I missed one of hers that I really wanted to take called Better Than Brainstorming. Brainstorming is one of my favorite hobbies and I would love to do it better! But, no worries, Barbara has recorded versions of all her past classes available for purchase on her registration page. Scroll to the bottom of the page to see the list. Her next teleclass, Outsmarting Resistance, is coming up on June 29.
I want this so bad it hurts. My wish list has become bigger than the pile of laundry that sits on my sofa saying, “Fold me. Fold me. I know you want to.” Check out Your Creative Spark: Inspiring Interviews with 12 Highly Creative Bloggers. If you aren’t ready to purchase this program right now, explore the website anyway. Click on the links for all the artists and creative women featured in the program and sit back and enjoy the internet odyssey.
Now this one isn’t a class or a program, but I found Christine Mason Miller’s blog Swirly Girl while on my surfing journey inspired by Your Creative Spark. Today: Begin is the new desktop wallpaper gracing my laptop. Christine is very generous and has lots of Free Loot for you to download and decorate your cyberspaces.
